Institute of Visual Informatics (IVI) UKM

Established in 2010, the Institute of Visual Informatics (IVI) is a renowned centre of excellence in the realm of Computer Science & ICT. It seamlessly integrates with various other disciplines including education, medicine & health, engineering, and socio-economics, thus earning its reputation as a multi-disciplinary centre of excellence recognized both nationally and internationally. Visual Informatics, a captivating and thought-provoking branch of research within the domain of Computer Science & ICT, is the primary focus of IVI.

Institut IR4.0 UKM

Penubuhan Institut IR4.0 (IIR 4.0) pada asalnya ditubuhkan dari penjenamaan semula Institut Informatik Visual (IVI) pada Mac 2020. Penyelidikan yang dijalankan dalam IIR4.0 merangkumi teknologi terkini yang merupakan asas IR4.0 seperti Kecerdasan Buatan, Internet Pelbagai Benda, Pengkomputeran Awan, Realiti Maya &, Sistem Autonomi, Penyepaduan Sistem, Pembuatan Bahan Tambahan, Analitik Data Raya, Robotik, dan Keselamatan Siber. Institut IR4.0 mempunyai Lembaga Penasihat antarabangsa yang berwibawa yang terdiri daripada individu berprofil tinggi dari ahli akademik dan industri di peringkat nasional dan antarabangsa yang mewakili negara dari United Kingdom (UK), Eropah, Taiwan, dan Malaysia. IIR4.0 mempunyai 15 Felo Penyelidik utama dan ingin melantik lebih ramai Felo Bersekutu dari pelbagai disiplin termasuk Kejuruteraan, Sains Komputer, Perubatan, Sains Sosial, Ekonomi dan sebagainya. Justeru itu, Institut IR4.0 (IIR4.0) mengalu-alukan para ahli akademik dan indusri dari dalam dan luar negara untuk bersama-sama IIR4.0 dalam usaha untuk mengukuhkan bidang IR4.0 melalui pelbagai kerjasama.
